Stephanie Rovig
Yoga Teacher
Stephanie began practicing yoga asana in 2010 while she was on the University of Missouri Swim Team. She quickly discovered that yoga offered much more than increasing physical mobility and alleviating tension. Yoga helped her decrease anxiety and added to her overall emotional wellbeing. She was hooked. During her doctoral degree in psychology at the University of Buffalo, she noticed many similarities between ancient yogic teachings and modern scientific knowledge. In 2017 she completed her first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Evolation Yoga in Buffalo, New York. Her dissertation examined yoga as a preventative tool for eating disorders in university athletes. She moved to Ontario in 2021 and was pleased to find the Lost 'n Found yoga community in 2023. In 2026, she completed her second 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Lost 'n Found. She is ecstatic to be a teacher at a studio she loves.
Stephanie holds a deep respect for the roots of yoga. Since becoming a student of yoga, she's enjoyed practicing various styles, including hot vinyasa, hatha, restorative, and yin. She believes there is a style of yoga to match whatever season of life you find yourself in. She offers creatively sequenced classes that provide a balance of strength building and tension release. As a lifelong learner, new research and findings related to the benefits of yoga excite her. Most important to her is that her classes feel inclusive and welcoming to all. Come as you are.
