  • HATHA RESTORATIVE

Experience the best of both worlds. Move gently to waken and stretch your muscles in the Hatha portion of class and then softly settle into the luxurious rest that our props have to offer for the Restorative experience.

  • HATHA YOGA

Hatha Yoga is an umbrella term used to describe a variety of modern postural yoga styles. This physical practices offers many benefits including a variety of movement types, stretching, strength, alignment and the stimulation of body systems. In most studios, however, including our own, Hatha is commonly referred to as a style of practice that is slow where postures are held for a few breaths and changes between the postures happen without Sun Salutations.

A Hatha class can be found on our schedule as a gentle Level One or a challenging Level Two class. In addition, the Level Two Hatha is offered in our hot room where the room is heated to approximately 95 degrees.

  • HATHA FLOW

Hatha Flow offers the same benefits of Hatha Yoga (variety, stretching, strengthening, alignment and stimulation) with the addition of some Sun Salutations to link the movements. Sun Salutations are sometimes called Vinyasa or Flow and involve strength and stamina for the upper body and stimulate the nervous system. This class is an ideal bridge for those who want to move from a slower paced Hatha class and want to experience a quicker pace before moving into a Vinyasa class.

  • HOT VINYASA FLOW

Get your sweat on with this challenging practice that has all the same benefits of Hatha plus the added bonus of being in a room heated to approximately 95 degrees. Structured around Sun Salutations, this class will build strength in your core and upper body and give you a vigorous workout that will stimulate your nervous system.

This is a Level 3 class best suited for those with some yoga experience. Please note this class is not recommended for pregnant women. If you have any medical issues especially blood pressure or heart related, please consult a physician before attending class.

  • HOT YOGA TONE

Similar to our Hot Vinyasa Flow class, this class is structured around Sun Salutations with a focus on movements that will challenge and activate the core muscles including the front, back and sides of the torso. Through repetitive movements and exercises that require stability, you will work toward building resiliency in your core. Expect to feel your muscles burn and transform and build inner focus and strength in this challenging class.

  • RESTORATIVE YOGA

  • SHAPES OF GRACE - HATHA

Shapes of Grace Hatha combines traditional Hatha yoga, while holding a space for those who want to incorporate contemplative Christian meditation into their practice.

  • VINYASA FLOW

This class is mid to fast paced giving you a vigorous, yet accessible practice. Each instructor will use unique sequencing and fluid transitions to encourage seamless movement in connection with your breath.

  • WARM YIN RESTORATIVE

Similar to Restorative, this is a quiet, meditative practice – and the perfect compliment to more dynamic and muscular styles of yoga. Postures are done lying passively on the floor in a heated room. The combination of long-held, passive stretching and heat works to improve flexibility and joint mobility. This practice is suitable for students of all levels, from Beginner to Advanced.

  • YIN

Yin Yoga is a slow and mindful practice that targets the deepest layers of our body such as our bones, ligaments and deep fascial network as opposed to our muscles. It’s most effective at releasing these areas of your body when practiced in the morning.

YTU approaches the body as a living archaeological dig, probing layers of muscles, tendons, connective tissues and joints, ultimately excavating unhealthy tension patterns and moving you back into physiological balance.
