Amy Romano

Yoga Teacher

Amy was first introduced to yoga as a teen, going to classes with her mom. Throughout the years, she has practiced yoga on and off, including being involved in Energy Exchange at Modo Yoga throughout university. After some time away from yoga, Amy experienced uncertainty regarding her future and what she wanted her life to look like. As usual, when experiencing these emotions, Amy turned to yoga to find mental peace and inner happiness. She decided to complete her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and graduated in April 2026.

Amy has a background in human movement and anatomy with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Brock University and is a Registered Kinesiologist. She brings her knowledge of the human body to her classes. Though Amy enjoys all types of yoga, she favours teaching vinyasa flows. Her style is creating physically challenging flows that are slowed down to allow students to find proper alignment and build strength while holding the poses. Amy finds great inner happiness while on her mat and has a passion for sharing the joys and benefits of yoga with others.
