Karen Tausendfreund graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 1979. A well-seasoned physiotherapist with over 40-years of experience and long time practicing yogi, she is excited to join the passionate team at Lost and Found Yoga and Pilates to offer a comprehensive physiotherapy service that considers the whole person.

Having clinical and leadership experience across the spectrum of care (acute, long-term care, home care and private out-patient practice) she understands the complexity of health care system and the challenges clients face in their recovery journey. Where appropriate physiotherapy treatment sessions will include motor control relearning for the area of injury following the Pilates repertoire allowing clients to get back to what they love with greater confidence and self-awareness. In addition, various hands-on techniques, modalities for pain and mind body disciplines may be used to improve movement, pain management, restore function, and health.
