Alanda MacLachlan
Yoga Teacher (200 hr)
After a successful 27-year career in the wine industry, Alanda followed her heart and turned her lifelong passion for yoga into a new career. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Lost'n Found Yoga and has continued her education with more than 300 hours of additional training, with a focus on Prenatal Yoga and accessible yoga for every body.
Long before becoming a teacher, Lost'n Found Yoga was Alanda's place to practice, heal, and find community through some of life's most challenging seasons. Today, she is honoured to teach in the same space that once supported her, creating welcoming classes where students feel safe, seen, and encouraged to move in ways that honour their unique bodies and experiences.
Alanda teaches Hatha, Restorative, Chair Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, and Shapes of Grace, a faith-based yoga class. Her teaching emphasizes breath awareness, mindful movement, deep rest, and the belief that yoga is truly for everybody. She is deeply grateful for the trust her students place in her and considers it a privilege to hold space for others as they reconnect with themselves—one breath at a time.
When she's not at the studio, Alanda is a proud homebody who enjoys savory cooking, getting lost in a good book, and taking peaceful walks in her neighbourhood.
