20 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training

Many of us live what might be considered a fairly yang lifestyle – one filled with commitments and projects, travel and just overall busyness.  And it’s good.  It’s exciting and can be rewarding and keep us active in the world.  And!  Often times, we forget about, or neglect the other side of things, the side that will help to keep us in balance and harmony – the yin side.

This is the side that helps you connect to yourself.  Helps you heal.  Slow down and recognize the power of stillness and the beauty in the world around you.  When we nourish this side of things, it helps us to show up in the world more fully.  When we nourish the yin side, our relationships, projects and commitments are enhanced.

Yin yoga is a beautiful compliment to a more dynamic movement practice. As a result of the meditative quality of the practice, it helps to calm the mind and balance out a busy life, enhancing our vitality and overall health.

Who is this training for?

This program is for anyone looking to add more stillness and focus into their life.  It’s great for yoga teachers, students and body workers who are looking to:

  • add yin yoga to their classes, home practice or teach this style.
  • deepen their relationship to the yin-side. Not just the style of yoga, but the yin sensibility of yielding and acceptance.
  • introduce a new edge to their offerings.
  • find a way to slow down and connect to them self.
  • find the courage to lean in to the current situation.
  • enrich your life and your relationships.

This program could be just the thing you are looking for. The course is about so much more than making shapes with the body.  The program is an invitation to unfold into who you are – and to meet yourself right there.

“Whether or not you want to teach yin yoga, this program will change you! It is the most supportive, nurturing, intriguing program you could hope for. It’s so much more than poses and theory. It helps you actually LIVE in a different way – and what’s more powerful than that?”
